We’re so happy you’re considering LaPointe Chalets for your getaway to Chéticamp. Below you’ll find all the important information about bookings, payments, and policies so you can plan your stay with ease.
Two Payment Installments:
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 50% balance is due at check-in.
Minimum Stay:
A 2-night minimum stay is required. This applies year-round, including weekends and holidays.
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
We kindly ask that you honor these times to allow us to prepare the chalet for the next guest. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.
We understand that plans can change.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in are non-refundable.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Hello@lapointechalets.com.
We do not require a security deposit. However, by booking with us, you agree to be held financially responsible for:
Any damage caused to the property during your stay
Any excessive cleaning required due to smoke, pets, or neglect
Any missing items or misuse of the chalet facilities
Your credit card on file may be charged accordingly. We trust all our guests to treat the chalets with care and respect.
We love welcoming pets at LaPointe Chalets and want to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests—both human and furry. Please review our pet policy below:
A refundable $100 pet deposit is required for each reservation that includes a pet.
This deposit will be refunded in full after check-out, provided no damage is found during the inspection of your chalet.
Please keep pets off the furniture (beds, sofas, chairs) to help us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests.
Pets must remain on a leash at all times when outdoors for the safety of your pet, wildlife, and other guests.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste bags are required and should be disposed of properly in outdoor bins.
Any damage caused by pets (scratches, stains, chewing, etc.) will be charged against the deposit and, if costs exceed the deposit, billed to the guest’s account.
Excessive noise, such as persistent barking, must be managed to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.
Pets may not be left unattended in the chalet unless properly crated.
By bringing your pet to LaPointe Chalets, you agree to the terms above and accept financial responsibility for any damages caused by your pet during your stay.
